At the big VGJunk site today: Dinosaurs roam the Earth, and they also beat each other up in Taito’s arcade fighter Dino Rex! Yeah, this is a weird one. It’s got fat purple dinosaurs, Amazones (sic), pterodactyls as sporting officials and a whole other plot that takes place in a parallel world, I think? Like I said, it’s a weird one and you can read all about it here!
An example of the bizarre artwork often found plastered on the cartridges of Dendy (a Russian NES clone) games. For more information on weirdo Dendy art, you should watch this.
As featured in the Soft and Cuddly article, apparently the tape came with a song by a band called H.E.X. on the other, non-game-data side. I couldn’t really say it’s a good song, but it’s certainly infuriatingly catchy (to me at least).
