This was the artwork I created for the 1st issue of the short-lived 1up Presents magazine.  1up has unfortunately met it’s end today - I wanted say how fantastic it was doing work for them and the exposure I gained through them was ENORMOUS.  I really can’t overestimate how much further I am in my career/public status thanks to them.  The editorial staff was amazing to work with and was one of my best professional experiences working with them (as well as the now defunct GameSpy).  Content wise they were top notch and never cliched, and will be sorely missed.

I think this is one of the first times Samus Aran is depicted as clearly female.
